Kate Hudson's 'My Best Friend's Girl'Kate Hudson plays Alexis, a serial monogamist who is convinced by her promiscuous roommate that she needs to get in touch with her inner horn-dog. Cook is Tank Turner, the facilitator of her carnal adventure, initially deployed by Hudson’s on-and-off, unsexy boyfriend Dustin (played by American Pie’s Jason Biggs) to convince her that Dustin is indeed the best man for the job. The idea is that Tank will treat her so badly that she’ll run back into Dustin’s arms. But wait! She gets drunk and falls for the disgusting Tank, and Tank falls for the inebriated Alexis. Cue much romping and mirth.
